The North Pole Express

We took the kids out to Fillmore tonight to ride the North Pole Express train. Before we boarded, we had dinner and then went to Santa's little fair. There was fake snow:
free jumpies....
There were also rides that you could buy tickets for and craft booths but the kids just wanted to jump! Then they said "All Aboard!"

They brought everyone some cookies and milk, read a story, gave every passenger a jingle bell, and sang Christmas carols. Then we made a stop at the North Pole to pick up Santa.
He rode back to the station with us, visiting with the kids on the way.

We were super-excited!

After we got back to the train station, we got to see Santa one more time!

The Fillmore Railway does a lot of fun things all year...pumpkin train rides, murder mysteries, Thomas festivals, dinner with Santa, tree cutting trips. Fun stuff.

Isn't that so much fun ...we did that last year too. The girls loved it!

We were there Saturday. Kami liked the carousel more than the train.

Oh, that's funny. My kids didn't even ask to go on the carousel! Thank godness! :)
