As most of you know, I am a member of the Santa Clarita Photographers Association and each year, we host a print Expo at the Valencia Hyatt. There is an adult print competition as well as a junior print competition. This year, I am in charge of the kids' competition. It is open to budding photographers, grades 1st-12th and is FREE to enter. There are six levels to compete in and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each level. First place prizes include $100 gift certificates to Valencia Camera (high school), 2 Magic Mountain tickets (jr high), and Mountasia All Access Passes (primary grades). If you have a child or know a child who likes to take photographs and is in grades 1-12, please encourage them to enter.
